Lee Bergman is having a bad day. After a long day of work, he is handed a pink slip and now has to explain to his pregnant wife that he is no longer employed. Then Scott Anderson III, his boss and grandson of original President of Anderson Industries, drops a stack of forms in his 'IN' box and says, 'Done by tomorrow morning.' Confused, Lee decides his best chance to get his job back would be to chug through the night and fill out the forms. Five hours later, Scott returns to the office in a less than sober state, and goes somberly into his office. Hearing his bosses sobs, Lee makes his way into the office and finds Scott on his desk. He has fashioned his belt and tie into a noose and is ready to end it all. Now Lee must stop Scott from killing himself, despite the fact that this incident has been in the works since the end of World War II.
