  • WHAT IS THE SEEFLIK SHORT FILM COMPETITION SPRING '12

    The SeeFlik Short Film Competition is an online contest open to all legal residents of the United States 15 years of age or older.  The purpose of this contest is to discover and reward the talent and hard work of filmmakers whose voices have yet to be heard. The winners will be determined by a panel of judges. The submission deadline is July 30th, 2012, and the winners will be announced August 30th. 

  • WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER?

    All legal residents of the United States 15 years of age or older, as of the date of entry.

  • DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO ENTER?

    There is no cost, it is free.

  • HOW DO I ENTER?

    Go to www.seeflik.com, register and follow directions to upload your film.   

  • WHO JUDGES?

    SeeFlik is in the process of assembling our next panel of industry judges, which will be of the same caliber of esteemed directors, actors and screenwriters as our Fall Competition. Stay tuned...

  • ARE THERE PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS?

    Winners will be awarded with $15,000 in cash and prizes. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner, as well as four honorable mentions. The first place winner will receive $5,000, the second place winner will receive $2,500, and the third place winner will receive $1,000. All winners and honorees will also receive $850 worth of film industry software, courtesy of Showbiz Software/Media Services. In addition, the first place winner will have the opportunity to accept a 3 month paid production internship at the popular and award-winning news and entertainment website Salon.com. All winners will have the chance to meet with David Greenblatt, the co-founder of the Endeavor Talent Agency, who has represented industry titans such as James Cameron, David Lynch, and Aaron Sorkin. David will serve as a mentor and will help advance the careers of these emerging filmmakers.

  • AM I GIVING UP ANY RIGHTS TO MY FILM?

    No, you retain full rights to your film.  You are simply granting SeeFlik a non-exclusive right to display your film.

  • CAN I SUBMIT TO OTHER FILM FESTIVALS TOO?

    Yes, SeeFlik does not require exclusivity and you can submit to whichever festivals you choose.

  • CAN I ENTER MORE THAN ONE FILM?

    Yes, you can enter as many films as you like.
